Asphalt spreader (ustar. — the road paver) — the hook-on or self-propelled road-building car intended for laying of bituminous mixes, crushed stone, ballast and free mineral mixes with the set thickness, width, extent of alignment, preliminary consolidation and other parameters. It is applied at construction of highways, runways of airfields, constructions of open planning, sidewalks, walking and bicycle paths, asphalting of industrial and agricultural territories.
