Measuring instrument of deformation of a gluten IDK - 3M

The measuring instrument of deformation of a gluten IDK - 3M is intended for quality control of a gluten of the grain of wheat and wheat flour included in commodity classification of grain of wheat in accordance with GOST 9353, GOST 26574, and realizes the techniques of performance of measurements regulated in GOST 13586.1 and GOST 27834.

The measuring instrument of deformation of a gluten IDK - 3M defines deformation of a gluten in conventional units.

The device can be used for work in the industry on preparation and processing of grain, agriculture (laboratories of hlebopriyemny points, the State grain inspection, elevators, flour - grinding plants, research institutes and other enterprises which activity demands an assessment of quality of wheat and production developed from it).

Accuracy of the device allows to define unambiguously:

• group of quality of a gluten at the solution of the controversial issues resulting from the analysis which indicators are on border of two groups of quality;
• quality of a weak gluten in wheat for the purpose of optimum selection of improvers for giving to wheat of higher baking properties.

Principle of action and description.

The principle of operation of the measuring instrument is based on measurement of deformation of the gluten sample created in the form of a ball under the influence of loading of a certain size within 30 seconds.

The measuring instrument of deformation of a gluten of IDK - ZM consists of a measuring head and the block of electronic control.

In the lower part of a head the mobile calibrated loading executed in the form of a cone with a diameter of 35 mm which size of the course makes 20 mm is located.

Vertical movement of calibrated loading is provided with the electric motor, and deduction of loading in extreme top situation is carried out by means of an electromagnet.

In a measuring head the device which forms the signals corresponding to the size of deformation of a sample of a gluten is located.

The electronic block located in the plastic case exercises control of the electric motor and an electromagnet, and also processing of signals of the measuring device.

In the top left part of the case the START - UP button is located. On the front panel of the case there is an indicator of conventional units of IDK, three light - emitting diodes indicating operating modes of the device and in the right top corner of the front panel there is a light - emitting diode indicating inclusion of a network. On the back panel of the case of the control unit the network socket and the switch of food are located. Under the basis of the device there is a safety lock nest.

The automated measurement process:

• To turn on the device in a network.
• To put a sample of a gluten in the center of a little table.
• To press the START - UP button.
• In 30 seconds on the indicator the result of measurement will appear.
